Unlike the standard Savio Skimmerfilter, the Highflow version is designed for systems where secondary biological filtration (like a waterfall filter or pressurized unit) is already present. By removing some internal filter frames, Savio has eliminated flow resistance, allowing your high-performance pump to operate at its full potential without cavitation or "choking."
Installation Tip: The outlet holes on the Savio housing are intentionally left uncut to allow you to customize the exit height and pipe size (up to 3") for your specific plumbing needs. A hole saw or jigsaw is recommended for a clean install.
