Posted by Underwater Warehouse on Nov 24th 2022

Underwater Warehouse offered Fiberglass Tanks with and without Glass Window. The Fiberglass Tanks with Window have come popular over the past few years.

Homeowners are designing the Fiberglass Tanks to display koi and goldfish on their patio, aquariums in basements and also used for bait sold at bait shops.

Fiberglass Applications:

  • Koi Ponds
  • Aquariums
  • Bait Shop Holding Tanks
  • Quarantine Tanks

Following the steps below for installing the plumbing on the Fiberglass Tanks

  • Step 1: Choose a Tank Size
  • Step 2: Choose a Pump. We recommend external pumps.
  • Step 3: Choose a Filter. Confirm the filter can handle the max flow of the pump. If not, you can bypass "divert" a portion of the water around the tank.
  • Step 4: Design Plumbing Layout.
    • Suction Line: Will the pump pull "suction line" water from the bottom of the tank or side walls? How Many suction lines are in your design?
    • Return Lin: How many return lines will be reentering the tank? Will you have one high and one midlevel?
  • Step 5: Using a hole Saw. Cut the holes for your bulkhead fittings for the suction and return lines.
  • Step 6: Suction Lines return intake screens. Thread in screens.
  • Step 7: Connect Pump to Filter
  • Step 8: Connect Tubing from Filter to Tank Return Lines
