Description
Atlantic TidalWave L-Series Pumps
When your water feature demands massive flow, the Atlantic TidalWave L-Series delivers. These professional-grade submersible pumps are specifically engineered for high-volume, low-head applications. Utilizing an axial flow design, the L-Series can move significantly more water than standard pumps while using a fraction of the power—making them the ideal choice for wide waterfalls, large pond circulation, and massive wetland filtration systems.
Built for continuous duty and extreme durability, the L-Series combines heavy-duty cast iron and stainless steel construction to ensure your water feature remains the centerpiece of your landscape for years to come.
Key Features & Benefits
-
Axial Flow Engineering: Designed to economically deliver very high volumes of water at low head heights, perfect for wide "sheet" waterfalls and large-scale streams.
-
Rugged Construction: Features a heavy-duty cast iron and stainless steel housing that resists corrosion and ensures long-term dependability in demanding environments.
-
Superior Motor Protection: Equipped with dual drive bearings and double silicone carbide mechanical seals that reduce friction and wear, significantly prolonging the motor's lifespan.
-
Thermal Overload Protection: Built-in sensors automatically shut down the pump in low-water conditions, preventing catastrophic damage from overheating.
-
Large Diameter Plumbing: Includes 3-inch male threaded outlets to accommodate the large-diameter tubing required for massive water flows.
-
Eco-Friendly Efficiency: Moves more water with less electricity compared to traditional direct-drive pumps in low-head scenarios.

Application Tip: The "Low-Head" Advantage
The L-Series is a specialty pump. It excels when the "Total Dynamic Head" (the height the water is lifted plus friction loss) is low—typically under 15 feet. If you are building a wide, 2-foot high waterfall that needs 10,000+ GPH, the L-Series will provide that massive volume much more efficiently than a high-head pump designed for tall fountains.
