Description
Pondmaster AP-20 Air Pump
Energy-Efficient Aeration for Healthy Ponds & Aquatic Life
The Pondmaster AP-20 is the cornerstone of the high-performance AP-Series, designed to provide consistent, life-sustaining oxygen to garden ponds and koi habitats. Proper aeration is critical for breaking up surface tension, preventing stagnant water, and supporting the beneficial bacteria that keep your pond clear.
Equipped with a non-oil lubricated motor, the AP-20 is both energy-efficient and environmentally friendly. Operating at just 20 watts, it delivers a powerful 1,700 cubic inches of air per minute, making it the perfect choice for ponds up to 2,000 gallons. Its ultra-quiet design (40 dba) ensures your backyard remains a peaceful retreat while your aquatic ecosystem thrives.

Installation Note: For outdoor use, it is highly recommended to house the AP-20 in a ventilated protective enclosure to shield it from direct rain and snow. Always install the pump above the water level or use a check valve to prevent water from siphoning back into the motor.
Maintenance Tip: To maintain peak airflow, check and clean the air intake filter every 3–6 months. If you notice a decrease in bubble production, the internal diaphragms may need replacing (Replacement Diaphragm Kits available).
Looking for More Power? For larger ponds or deeper water, consider the AP-40 (up to 2,900 gal), AP-60 (up to 5,000 gal), or the industrial-strength AP-100 (up to 7,500 gal). Pair your pump with Airline Tubing and Pro-Glass Air Stones for a complete aeration setup.
