You will need roughly 1,000 pounds (1/2 ton) or 12 to 15 basketball size rocks and approximately four to six 50-pound (23 kg) bags or buckets of gravel of 1" to 1.5" diameter. Rocks and gravel can be purchased at garden centers, rock yards or home improvement stores.
