These Retrofit Blowers are the exact same blowers and assemblies that come as an option with the EasyPro Pressurized Bead Filters (fittings may vary from image).
The optional air blower agitates the media inside the filter prior to back-flushing, which greatly speeds up the cleaning process. It also reduces water loss during back-flush and helps prevent beads from clumping together. Air blower weighs additional 12 pounds.
