Matala Pond Vacuum PRO
Keep your pond looking its best with the Matala Pond Vacuum PRO, a powerful and efficient solution for removing sludge, debris, and sediment from ponds, waterfalls, and water features. Featuring a generous 9.5-gallon collection tank—approximately 85% larger than the Pond Vac II—this vacuum lets you clean longer between drain cycles for improved productivity.
Powered by a premium German-engineered 1.5 HP motor, the Pond Vacuum PRO delivers suction performance comparable to many 2 HP units while using less energy. It is an excellent choice for small to medium-sized ponds and other water features. Like other single-chamber pond vacuums, it operates on an automatic fill-and-drain cycle, so periodic pauses during operation are normal.
As the vacuum collects debris, the tank fills for approximately 70 seconds. Once full, the motor automatically shuts off while the tank empties through the discharge hose over approximately 35 seconds. After draining, the vacuum automatically restarts so you can continue cleaning with minimal interruption. For added convenience, an optional mesh collection bag can be attached to the discharge hose to capture larger debris before the water is discharged to a garden or drain.
