This replacement canister ensures that your "Bio-Mechanical" filtration process—which uses sponge media and bio-balls—operates in a perfectly sealed environment for maximum bacterial growth and debris removal.
Installation Tip: When swapping to the new canister, always inspect the main sealing O-ring for any signs of wear or flat spots. Lubricate the O-ring with a silicone-based pond lubricant to ensure a perfect seal and to make future maintenance easier. Ensure the canister clips are snapped securely into place before turning the pump back on.
