Placement & Preparation: Because Canyon Petrified Stone is naturally dense and heavy, it provides excellent stability for your hardscape. It is largely inert and will not significantly affect your water's pH or GH. As with all natural rock, we recommend rinsing the stones thoroughly before use to remove any surface dust.
Setup Tip: Because of the linear "grain" of petrified stone, try to keep the grain running in the same direction across all your pieces. This creates a more cohesive and natural look, as if the stones were all part of the same geological formation.
