 These assembly includes 6" air diffusers, a underlay plate(to keep diffuser out of mud) and a check valve to prevent water from backing up into the airline. Standard air hose fitting is 1/2".
2Stone Diffuser - This assembly includes two 6" long air diffusers,Maximum air flow is 1 CFM for this diffuser.
4 Stone Diffuser - Typically used where the depth is less than 8' or in smaller ponds with smaller compressors. Requires 1.5 to 2.4 CFM. S1 underlay included. Outlet 1/2" male barb fitting included. Shipped in two boxes.
6 Stone Diffuser - Usually recommended in 8-40' of water and requires 3.0 - 7 CFM. S1 underlay (included) prevents sediment erosion and suspension. Outlet 1/2" male barb fitting included. Shipped in two boxes.

 The MD3 diffuser has a 3/4" male threaded inlet for easy connection or removal from the diffuser assembly. The rubber membrane can be removed for inspection or cleaning.

 These EPDM rubber air diffusers are incredibly strong and are ideal for pond aeration, circulation and destratisfying applications. Unlike air stones these diffusers are easy to clean, EPDM membrane cleans much better and easier than porous air stones.
In testing, these air diffusers produce a slightly larger air bubble than air stones which translates into less oxygen transfer into the water, so for fish holding tanks, raceways, fish productions ponds, etc. we recommend staying with the air stones. These diffusers are an excellent choice for pond and water garden aeration since they actually produce more circulation and water movement. Barbed inlets have multiple size barbs. Simply cut to fit the size tubing you are using.
