The Pondmaster AP-40 Air Pump is designed to satisfy the requirements of a multitude of water-related applications. All AP-Series air pumps operate on standard 110V electric and come with a 6' power cord. The non-oil lubricated motor is designed to operate efficiently and save energy. For outdoor applications it is recommended that the unit be enclosed to protect it from the elements.
If you have a quartz sleeve make sure and clean it with acetone when you change your bulb to truly have a clean quartz sleeve. As a general rule of thumb, you should change your UV bulb after about 8,000 hours use. This is about once a year.
