The Cal Pump Underwater Light is a 115 volt, 250 watt light with a tungsten halogen bulb. The lamp is mounted in a stainless steel case with a heavy case brass grill and is thermally protected. This light does have a receptacle.
The convenient swivel stand allows for easy placement and it comes with 4 different colored lenses for different effects.
Lenses are sold separately.
Note: The light is designed for underwater use only, for cooling, and using it outside of water could result in damage to the light.
Filters that have not had water circulating through them for the winter should be cleaned well before turning the pump back on this spring. Cleaning will remove toxins that can develop from waste breaking down in the filter in the absence of oxygen. Once your filter is up and running, seed it with beneficial bacteria.
