This rocking piston compressor kit is similar to the 1/4 HP rotary vane kit above (PA50) only this unit is capable of much greater operating depth. While the rotary vane unit above will operate to a depth of 18', this compressor will pump air over 40' deep! Ideal for deep water aeration.

If you have a quartz sleeve make sure and clean it with acetone when you change your bulb to truly have a clean quartz sleeve. As a general rule of thumb, you should change your UV bulb after about 8,000 hours use. This is about once a year.
