Thompson Strainers
The Thompson Strainer is a patented and truly unique stainless steel strainer. All models operate with less than 1 pressure PSI lost at maximum flow, when clean. The Thompson Strainer's internal flow patterns are responsible for making this unique product so effective. As liquid flows up through the internal riser pipe and deflects off of the inner surface of the conical shaped screen, heavier particles are forced downward, away from the screen, into the large debris reservoir. Thompson Strainers can be flushed while on-line and in service. Settled solids are easily removed by purging the debris through the flush port.
