Cal Pump Floating Pond Vent
Keep your pond healthy all winter by maintaining a vent hole in the ice with the Cal Pump Floating Pond Vent EggLite Kit. Cal Pump's Pond Vent is a safe, effective, and maintenance-free system for venting your pond during the cold winter months. Maintaining a clearing in your pond during the cold winter months will allow any harmful gases to escape from your pond before accumulating and harming your flora and fauna.
In moderate zones, the Pond Vent will create an effective vent without the use of the EggLite or electricity. For areas with harsh winter cold and prolonged freezing temperatures, the included 10-Watt EggLite will provide enough warmth inside the Pond Vent to prevent freezing.
When comparing the Pond Vent to more traditional de-icers, which have a high-energy usage, the Pond Vent can save enough in energy to pay for itself in just one season.
Use the colored discs to create unique and dramatic rainbows of color in the Pond Vent during the winter months or remove the vent to add effects in the included EggLite Floater the remainder of the year. A standard magnetic base is also included to position the EggLite during the warmer seasons.
The EggLite is a versatile, low-energy light that can be used during anytime of year as decorative lighting for your pond, in the Pond Vent, or even as inconspicuous landscape lighting. Additional EggLites may be added to your light system using the included transformer and extension cord. A 10-Watt EggLite Replacement Bulb is also included.
