Allied Sinking Pond DeIcer

This Sinking De-icer will sink to the bottom of the pond, and is thermostatically controlled with an automatic shut-off. Since it operates at the bottom of the tank, it is less likely to be disturbed by fish.

Each unit comes with a galvanized wire Guard/Stand With the guard in place, the Sinking De-icer may be used in plastic ponds.

Most pondkeepers know that the best way to ensure clear pond water is with an ultraviolet sterilizer. Some often overlooked factors are what to do when the UV light is not doing the job anymore. Usually, this is a simple as an old lamp. Depending on the brand, UV lamps should generally be replaced about every 12-15 months of use.
