Not Picky
The unique internal paddle mechanism slowly dispenses feed at your preprogrammed timed interval. Able to handle pellets from 1.5mm to 9.5mm in size, the medium capacity hopper holds up to 2-1/2 lbs. of fish food. A clear viewing window on the side of the feeder allows you to clearly see if its time to replenish the feeder.
Be lazy
Simple to program, the KoiChefs digital timer allows you to set up to four automatic feedings per day. You can program it to feed at any hour of the day or night and have it deliver either a single or double feeding. The double feeding mode delivers two feedings within 60 seconds of each other - allowing you to feed your fish up to 8 times per day. Each single feeding delivers approximately 15 grams of food, double feeding delivers up to 30 grams of feed. If you don't want to be lazy, just press the manual override and the KoiChef will automatically deliver one feeding at the press of a button!
Options Included
A hanging kit allows the KoiChef to hang from a tree branch, light post or any vertical beam hanging over your pond. A pole mounting kit is also included in case you want to mount it on your dock or vertical beam. The durable plastic construction will not rust and is Hunter Green in color so it won't stick out like a sore thumb. Tight snap-lock lid helps keep moisture out while ensuring rodents and birds don't peck away at your fish's dinner!
NEVER install an air pump BELOW water level! (Unless you install a check valve in the line!) If at any time your power supply to your air pump is interrupted, water will back siphon down the delivery tube and flood the pump workings, rendering the pump inoperative.
