CalPump 36 Watt UV Clarifier

CalPump 36 Watt UV Clarifier

Introducing U.V. Clarifiers to your system will give you the best possible water clarity. As algae passes through the unit, the U.V. light bleaches chlorophyll from the plant. The chlorophyll then sticks together and lodges into the biological filter to decompose. It then turns into nutrients and is consumed by beneficial bacteria that renders the nutrients harmless to pond life.

Features & Benefits:

  • Clarifies water
  • Installs in-line as a stand alone fixture
  • Light tube unit can be installed in CPS Biological Filters
  • Multi purpose & versatile, can be added to any new or existing system

Koi & Pond Tip of the Day
January 6th, 2009
Koi can be very hard on your plants because of their persistent rooting habits. They will root around looking for insects and larvae to feed on. Any valuable plants should be planted in tubs, which are then placed in the pond.
